Video: Drake - 'Take Care' & 'HYFR'

It seems like a lifetime ago that we first heard Drake's take on the Gil Scott-Heron/Jamie xx anthem 'I'll Take Care Of U'. Yet Aubrey finally dropped the video to the eponymous track from his second album, which was released in November of last year. Also, as a bonus he went and gifted us with a video to another Take Care track, 'HYFR'. Don't say Drizzy doesn't treat his fans well.

The video to 'Take Care' was directed by Yoann Lemoine, who also directed the brilliant Lana Del Rey video 'Born To Die'. While everyone will have a personal favourite track from Take Care, you cannot deny that 'Take Care' is the stand-out anthem from the album. Rihanna's feature is just perfect and she has never sounded better than she does on this hook. Lemoine has directed a beautiful video that brings out the artistry and beauty in the smallest things due to the minimalistic approach. Check out the video to 'Take Care' below.

While the 'HYFR' video will be over-shadowed by 'Take Care', it deserves some appreciation. The Weezy-featuring track is directed by Director X and follows Drake as he is "re-bar mitzvah'd". The vibe of this song is in stark contrast to the mellow atmosphere created in 'Take Care'. 'HYFR' is just about having fun and getting fucked up. This video is worth watching purely for 1) Lil Wayne in a panda mask (robbed from the Frank Ocean 'Swim Good' video?) and 2) seeing mini-Drake dancing at his original bar mitzvah. Check it out below:
